1:18, 1:2 is a work that reflects on the experience of the exhibition space in which it stands.

It is a plasterboard construction with monochrome images of what seems to be the exhibition room itself. But the images are derived from a maquette of the space, photographed with a pinhole camera on scale. The maquette only refers to the space through proportions, light and shadows, but any detail is lacking.

This project was developed during an Input Party research project together with 7 other makers. During this period we discussed our ideas and our working progress through the aid of reference images. The work was presented during our group show 'A Visual Conversation' at Neverneverland, Amsterdam. We are still working towards a documentation of the Input Party process we shared together.
